randomness

So, Shortcake and I had an interesting conversation last night. She again made the claim that she does not look like Rihanna (whose new single dropped yesterday and album will be in stores 11/23). The following are my random thoughts from last night.

--I realized that Shortcake can tell when I'm lying about how I'm feeling, even via text message. Of course, all she has to do is call me minister and I have to spill it (cause ministers don't lie, right?), which she has not had to do lately. I've been really good about being open with her. She says Southerners don't like to talk about what they are feeling, that we are too polite. So, she tells me I need to act Northern.

--Shortcake has a date tonight (and not it's not with me). There is some guy who likes her and is taking her out. He has also offered to fix her 'thang' (whatever that is). Do I like it? Hell no! But such is the life of a closeted lesbian. I hope she enjoys her movie. I heard "Wild Things" is really good and she has been looking forward to seeing it.

--Speaking of men, the topic of a threesome has come up (more than once, but that's another blog for another day). She has an ex (a guy) that wants to be with her and another girl. He's down. She's down. I'm...conflicted. Part of me wants to do it cause well...it'll be too hot for words. The other part of me is like hell naw. Who wants to see their girlfriend sleeping with somebody else? I don't know what to do. Love is something else. I do believe Gladys Knight said, "Love is a dangerous game. Winners and losers. Pleasure and pain."

--Shortcake called while I was watching NCIS. I didn't pick up but sent a text saying I would call after 9. (It really had nothing to do with the show but rather I'm over my minutes.) So, I call her back shortly after 9. She jokingly accused me of having another gf. I know she was playing but I don't like that shit. All I need is one chick. I know she does it to push my buttons.

--I have agreed to puppysit Zeus so my girl can go home for Thanksgiving. I'm super excited. Her not so much. She's afraid I'm gonna spoil him while she's gone (she's probably right). She called me 'his other mommy' (yay!) then called me 'his evil stepmother' (boo!). Why I gotta be evil?

--So, I was talking mad smack last night about my bedroom abilities. She was claiming that it was beginner's luck. You know I couldn't have that. So, I came right back at her. She was like 'oh ok, folks got jokes.' I'm laughing cause it's funny. Tell me why, her ass is like 'oh ok, this weekend...yea...Alcatraz. Lock down.' Really, baby? Really? If she gets none, I get none. Boo, baby. Boo!

--I'm looking forward to seeing my baby again. I miss her "I-don't-look-like-Rihanna" ass. I just want to hold her and never let go. Even if I can't get any, I just want to be in the same room with her. I miss her ass so much it
