I love music. I also love to dance. I read Black 'n Bougie everyday. This week is music week other there. If you have read it, check it out. So, it got me thinking. Do you girls (along with your boo) have "a song"? You know what I mean. The song that you call yours. That song that makes your heart jump. That song that blocks everything out of your mind except the one you love. That song that reminds you why you love your girl.
I must admit that I have never had "a song". I mean there were songs that reminded me of the person I was with, but I've never had one that was ours. I actually never thought about having "a song" before. But, Shortcake got my mind all messed up. I already think about her all the time, so I figure I might as well put a soundtrack to it.

We don't have a mutual "song"...just songs that remind us of each other. We have different taste in music. She is a country music fan, while I like R&B/Soul. She likes "Kiss a Girl" by Keith Urban for me. My song for her is "Like A Star" by Corinne Bailey Rae.
