"Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." And apparently you never know where you're gonna find it. Life is funny that way. My weekend was filled with the unexpected. Some good. Some bad. One very good.
[pause] Yes, I should do an update blog for all of my loyal blog readers. It's coming, don't get your panties in a twist. [moving right along]
Where were we, oh my weekend. It was quite eventful to say the least. Some friends and I decide to go out Thursday night and someone had the bright idea of drinking before we left. I know, I know. Then, when we get to the club, we started drinking again. Yes, we had a DD. So, your girl is super tipsy and was all in this chick's ear. This is how I know these people are not really my friends. They let me bring her back to my house. Well, she followed us in her car, but you get the point.
They knew I was tipsy! So, I bring ole girl home and I honestly do not remember having sex with her. I remember coming home and going to sleep. Apparently, we did have sex and I guess it was good cause she didn't want to leave the next morning. In fact, she was with me all day. ALL. DAMN. DAY. Every time I mentioned her leaving she would start talking about me rejecting her and not respecting her cause we had sex and then cry. I'm a sucker for tears. I didn't get rid of her til 11:00p. That's right 11:00p! And not one of my so-called friends called or texted the whole day. This was Friday. They think its funny. This started off good became bad but led to my very good.
So, Saturday I spent chilling out with Eros. I get a phone call about going to the movies and I gladly accept. Shut up, ain't nobody ask you! I decide to take Eros out for a quick walk before I leave him locked up in the kitchen for hours. Big mistake! We didn't get far before both of us started sneezing. We go home and I text ole girl about my allergies and take some meds. She text back talking about she understand cause all three of her kids got allergies. Ummm, what? Yea, this is the first time she mentioned kids. So, I bow out gracefully. Shallow? Maybe. But, dang y'all she got three kids. So, I ended up texting the very good (whom I haven't named yet) most of the night.
Well, it's 2:20a (though I won't post this til later) Sunday morning, so who knows what Sunday holds, but let's get to the good stuff. My very good. Meeting this person makes everything else I went through this weekend worth it. So, while I was being held hostage I started texting the very good. We texted back and forth and I realized I didn't know much about her. I took this as a chance to really "talk" to her. The conversation was good, very good.
When ole girl and the magically appearing kids came on the scene, I had to tell somebody. So, I text the very good and she get her seven chuckles in. We "talk" for most of the night. At one point, she says I can call her, so we actually talk for about two hours. She's mad cool too. It's funny how things work themselves out. I know that I have definitely found a friend. And that's nice and unexpected. Though my weekend made no sense, this new found friendship really
Makes. No. Sense.
Finding a new friend is a great thing. She is probably just as happy to have met you. :)
